Her Majesty Gyalum Tseyring Pem Wangchuck and Her Royal Highness Ashi Kesang Chodren Wangchuck Graced the Launch of Literary works: Highlighting Bhutanese Heritage and Human-Centred Economics.

The opening of the inaugural Global GNH Forum at Dungkar Dzong in Pangbisa, Paro was distinguished by two landmark literary launches that together captured the essence of Bhutan’s journey its deep spiritual heritage and its aspiration for a more humane economic future. Presided over by Her Majesty Gyalum Tseyring Pem Wangchuck and Her Royal Highness Ashi Kesang Chodren Wangchuck, these launches symbolised the convergence of tradition and transformation at a moment of national and global significance.
Her Majesty Gyalum Tseyring Pem Wangchuck unveiled the first book, The Precious Garland of Incarnations, composed by His Eminence Trulku Kunga Tenzin, which stands as a tribute to Bhutan’s sacred lineage. Through its eloquent depiction of reincarnated masters and their enduring influence, the work illuminates the spiritual foundations that have guided Bhutan’s cultural identity and governance ethos for centuries.

In a complementary unveiling, Her Royal Highness Ashi Kesang Chodren Wangchuck, President of the GNH Centre Bhutan (GNHCB) and Patron of the Forum, launched Economía Humana by Ferran Caudet, CEO and co-founder of Human Economy Spain. This launch underscored the Forum’s global orientation, bridging Bhutanese philosophy with international economic reform.
Drawing upon practical case studies and contemporary research, the book advocates for a systemic shift from profit-centric models toward human-centered economic systems anchored in intuition, shared wellbeing, and ethical leadership. By showcasing real-world enterprises that are successfully redefining prosperity, Mr Ferran Caudet’s work provides a global resonance to Bhutan’s longstanding conviction: that true development must be measured by human welfare, ecological balance, and cultural integrity rather than GDP alone.
Together, these two launches embodied the Forum’s overarching aspiration: to integrate the wisdom of Bhutan’s spiritual past with innovative ideas shaping global futures.
